Our Support for Local Authorities
Building Stronger Youth Sectors. Creating Lasting Impact.
The success of the Young Futures Hubs and Transformation Programme depends on more than delivering new activities—it depends on having a strong, sustainable network of local organisations capable of supporting children and young people for years to come.
Game Changed Network CIC works alongside local authorities to strengthen the organisations at the heart of their communities.
We provide practical organisational development support that helps charities, CICs and voluntary organisations secure funding, strengthen governance and build long-term sustainability. By investing in local organisations, councils can maximise the impact of their investment, create resilient community infrastructure and ensure support for young people continues long after individual funding programmes have ended.

Why Local Authorities Work With Us
Our model has been developed through successful partnerships with local authorities that recognise the importance of investing in organisational sustainability alongside frontline delivery.
We understand how councils work, how funding programmes operate and what community organisations need to thrive.
Our role is to bridge that gap, helping local authorities strengthen their voluntary and community sector while ensuring investment reaches the organisations making the greatest difference to young people.
Proven Results
Our approach has already demonstrated measurable impact.

The Youth & Community Funding Generator has supported organisations across Doncaster to strengthen governance, improve sustainability and secure significant external investment.
In just over eighteen months the programme has:
- Supported 46 organisations
- Submitted 68+ funding applications
- Secured more than £263,000 in funding
- Forecast external investment of more than £500,000 by Year Four.

Following the success of the Doncaster model, Game Changed Network CIC is now delivering organisational development support through Peterborough City Council’s Local Youth Transformation Pilot, providing funding, governance and policy support to strengthen youth organisations across the city.
Why Invest in Organisational Sustainability?
Every successful youth programme relies on strong local organisations.
When councils invest in organisational development they create:
- A stronger and more resilient VCSE sector.
- Increased external funding flowing into the local area.
- Better governance and organisational compliance.
- Greater collaboration between providers.
- Sustainable services that continue beyond individual grant programmes.
- Better outcomes for children and young people.
This approach ensures public investment delivers lasting value—not only through direct services but by strengthening the organisations that provide them.
